Epping and Districts Financial Services Limited is a franchisee of Bendigo Bank and operates the locally owned Community Bank Epping. It’s governance includes having a volunteer Board of Directors – made up of locals who wish to give back to their community and assist in the direction of the branch, and its program of community grant support.
Expressions of interest are now being accepted for the voluntary position of Board Director. As a Board Director you will be motivated, well organised, self-directed and community orientated. You’ll support and drive the company’s strategic direction, goals and objectives to have a real say in the future direction of the branch and community.
Directors are drawn from a wide cross section of the community including finance and law, professional services, education, management and the public service, as well as business enterprises. The Board aims to have a wide base of skills, and ideally broad knowledge of the local Epping community – maybe through active community participation.
The Board meets once a month, and there are also a number of sub-committees that Directors are involved with. From time to time, Directors represent the branch at local community functions.
