Epping Score 1st and 2nd in the 60m state titles

Epping District Athletics Club celebrated a double win on the podium recently. Carl Corey Ewing and Lewis Clabburn, both coached by Andrew Murphy took out first and second place: Carl with a time of 6.79 into a -1.7 wind and Lewis, 6.90 into a -1.7 wind.

Bendigo Community Bank Epping has had a long-standing relationship with EDAC, a legendary club with a history of producing winners. As recent winners of our business award, it was heartening to see our logo emblazoned on the winners’ outfits!

It is great to be part of brightening up Epping -

It is great to be part of brightening up Epping - and a colourful mural can completely change a drab wall or facade.
Community Bank Epping has sponsored two murals with the City of Parramatta Council. The side of Boronia Grove Community Centre now has the striking image of a powerful owl, whilst the new mural on Epping Library celebrates reading and learning.

Whether it is the twice yearly council collections

Whether it is the twice yearly council collections in North Epping, or the on-demand verge pick ups from City of Parramatta, local streets often see a lot of rubbish left out. The councils do a great job in clearing things up - but mostly this all then goes to landfill.

If you are doing a New Year's tidy out, there is a great local resource on ways to recycle and reuse a vast range of household items (including things that council won't pick up). Move It On North Epping is a local community group whose website has a valuable list of where you can recycle and regift things: https://www.moveiton.org.au/

In 2024, because locals choose to bank with your Community Bank, we were able to help more organisations, clubs and groups around Epping, with more community funding.
Our grants program financially supported 58 projects run by 42 organisations - from sports clubs to youth groups, school P&Cs to wellbeing projects. We funded equipment and gear, capital works and refurbishments, new community facilities and enhancements. And more!
